If we worship the same G-d, the G-d of Abraham, the G-d of Isaac, and the G-d of Jacob,
we do not make our own rules!

“Offering”

The sons of Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, each took his fire pan, they put fire in them and placed incense upon it; and
they brought before Hashem an alien fire that He had not commanded them. A fire came forth before Hashem and
consumed them, and they died before Hashem.
Vayikra (Leviticus) 10:1-2
He called to Moses, and Hashem spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting,… if one’s offering is a burnt-offering from
cattle, he shall offer an unblemished male; he shall bring it to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting,
voluntarily, before Hashem.
Vayikra (Leviticus) 1:1-3
He shall slaughter the bull before Hashem; the sons of Aaron, the Kohanim, shall bring the blood and throw the
blood on the Altar, all around – which is at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
The sons of Aaron the Kohen (priest) shall place fire on the Altar, and arrange wood on the fire.
… and the Kohen shall cause it all to go up in smoke on the Altar – a burnt-offering, a fire offering, a satisfying
aroma to Hashem.
Vayikra (Leviticus) 1:5, 7, 9
