THE PROPHETS
Joshua
Yehoshua
The Book of Joshua, in the Hebrew-Jewish Bible, narrates the entry of the Children of Israel into the Promised Land of Canaan and their conquest and partition of the land under the leadership of Joshua, as Moses’ successor. It details the Israelites’ miraculous crossing of the Jordan River, the fall of Jericho, the battles of Ai and Gibeon, and the division of the land among the twelve tribes. Joshua resonates with Moses, in which he exhorts the Israelites to remain faithful to G-d and His commandments.

If Only You Are Reading The Hebrew Scripture (Old Testament) By Yourself
That is all it takes to find out what G-d truly hates! — The worship of other gods (Jesus & the Trinity).

Avoid any corruption made by your church founder, elder, priest, pastor, preacher or minister. For they themselves do not read it plainly.
“The Suspected Rebellion”
“The Explanation”
“The Tribes Approves”
He said to them, “You have observe all that Moses, the servant of Hashem, has commanded you, and you have obeyed my voice, in all that I have commanded you.
22:2
Only be very careful to fulfill the commandment and the Torah that Moses, the servant of Hashem, commanded you: to love Hashem, your God, and to walk in all His ways and to observe His commandments and to cling to Him and to serve Him with all your heart and will all your soul.”
:5
They came to the regions of the Jordan that are in the land of Canaan. The children of Reuben, the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh built an altar there, near the Jordan — a large altar there, near the Jordan — a large altar as a showpiece.
:10
When the Children of Israel heard, the entire assembly of the Children of Israel congregated at Shiloh to advance upon them with an army.
:12
“Thus said the entire assembly of Hashem: “What is this treachery that you have committed against the God of Israel — to turn away from Hashem this day, by building for yourselves an altar for your rebellion this day against Hashem?
:16
But if the land of your possession is contaminated, cross over to the land of Hashem’s possession where the Sanctuary of Hashem is, and take your possession among us; but do not rebel against Hashem and do not rebel against us by building for yourselves an altar other than the Altar of Hashem, our God.
:19
Did not Achan son of Zerah commit treachery regarding the consecrated property of Israel? That man was not the only one to perish for his sin!’”
:20
“Almighty, God, Hashem; Almighty God, Hashem: He knows and Israel shall know. If it is rebellion or in treachery against Hashem, save us not this day.
:22
if we did not do this out of fear, saying [to ourselves]: In the future your children might say to our children, ‘What have you to do with Hashem the God of Israel?
:24
Hashem has established a border between us and you, O children of Reuben and children of Gad — the Jordan! You have no share in Hashem!’ So your children will cause our children to stop fearing Hashem.
:25
Therefore, we said, ‘Let us do this for ourselves — to build the altar, not for elevation-offering and not for sacrifice,
:26
So we said, ‘When they say this to us or to our generations tomorrow, we will say, “See the structure of the altar of Hashem that our fathers made — not for elevation-offering and not for offering , but as a testimony between us and you.”‘
:28
It would be sacrilegious for us to rebel against Hashem and to turn away this day from following Hashem, to build an altar for burnt-offering, meal-offering, and sacrifice — other than the Altar of Hashem, our God, which is before His Sanctuary!”
:29
And Phinehas son of Elazar the Kohen said to the children of Reuben, the children of Gad, and the children of Manasseh, “Today we know that Hashem is in our midst, since you did not commit this treachery against Hashem. Now you have saved the Children of Israel from the hand of Hashem.”
:31
The matter was good in the eyes of the Children of Israel; and the Children of Israel blessed God and no longer spoke of advancing upon them with an army, to destroy the land in which the children of Reuben and the children of Gad dwelled.
:33
The children of Reuben and the children of Gad named the altar [Witness”], for “it is a witness between us that Hashem is God.”
:34
1 Then Joshua called the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
2 And he said to them, “You have kept all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, and have obeyed me in all that I commanded you
3 You have not left your brothers these many days to this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the Lord your God.
4 And now the Lord your God has given rest to your brothers, as He spoke to them; and now turn and go to your dwellings, to the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you on the other side of the Jordan.
5 Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the Torah, which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commandments, and to cling to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
6 And Joshua blessed them, and dismissed them; and they went to their tents.
7 And to the half- tribe of Manasseh, Moses had given [inheritance] in Bashan, but to the other half Joshua gave among their brothers on this side of the Jordan westward. And also, when Joshua dismissed them to their dwellings, he blessed them.
8 And he said to them, saying, “Return with much wealth to your dwellings, and with very much cattle, with silver, and with gold, and with copper, and with iron, and with very many garments; divide the spoil of your enemies with your brothers.”
9 And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel out of Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the country of Gilead, to the land of their possession, of which they were possessed, according to the word of the Lord through Moses.
10 And they came to the regions of the Jordan, that are in the land of Canaan, and the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh built an altar there by the Jordan, a great altar to look upon.
11 And the children of Israel heard say, “Behold, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar over against the land of Canaan, in the regions of the Jordan, at the side of the children of Israel.”
12 And when the children of Israel heard of it, the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled at Shiloh, to go up to war against them.
13 And the children of Israel sent to the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, into the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest.
14 And with him ten princes, one prince of a father’s house for each of the tribes of Israel; and they were each one the head of the house of their fathers, among the thousands of Israel.
15 And they came to the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the hatf-tribe of Manasseh, to the land of Gilead, and they spoke with them, saying.
16 “Thus said the whole congregation of the Lord, ‘What treachery is this that you have committed against the God of Israel, to turn away this day from following the Lord, in that you have built an altar that you might rebel this day against the Lord.
17 Is the iniquity of Peor too little for us, from which we have not been cleansed until this day, and there was a plague in the congregation of the Lord.
18 And you will turn away this day from following the Lord? And it will be, since you rebel today against the Lord, that tomorrow He will be angry with the whole congregation of Israel.
19 However, if the land of your possesion is unclean, then pass you over to the land of the possession of the Lord, in which the Lord’s tabernacle dwells, and take possession among us; but do not rebel against the Lord, nor rebel against us, in your building an altar besides the altar of the Lord our God.
20 Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the devoted thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? And that man did not perish alone in his iniquity.”
21 Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh answered, and spoke to the heads of the thousands of Israel.
22 “God, God, the Lord, God, God, the Lord, He knows, and Israel, he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression against the Lord, save us not this day.
23 If we have built us an altar to turn away from following the Lord, or if to offer upon it burnt- offering or meal-offering, or if to offer peace-offerings upon it, let the Lord Himself require it;
24 And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, ‘In time to come, your children might speak to our children, saying, ‘What have you to do with the Lord God of Israel?
25 For the Lord has made the Jordan a border between us and you, you children of Reuben and children of Gad; you have no part in the Lord.’ So shall your children make our children cease from fearing the Lord.’
26 Therefore, we said, “Let us now prepare to build an altar for ourselves, not for burnt-offering, nor for sacrifice.
27 But that it may be a witness between us and you, and between our generations after us, that we might do the service of the Lord before Him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings, that your children will not say to our children in time to come, ‘You have no part in the Lord.’
28 Therefore, we said, ‘It will be when we shall say, “Behold the replica of the altar of the Lord which our fathers made, not for burnt-offerings, nor for sacrifices, but it is a witness between us and you.
29 Far be it from us that we should rebel against the Lord, and turn away this day from following the Lord, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meal-offerings, or for sacrifices, besides the altar of the Lord our God that is before His tabernacle.”
30 And Phinehas the priest and the princes of the congregation and the heads of the thousands of Israel who were with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spoke, and it pleased them.
31 And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said to the children of Reuben and to the children of Gad and to the children of Manasseh, “Today we know that the Lord is in our midst, that you did not commit this treachery. Then you have saved the children of Israel from the hand of the Lord.”
32 And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, and the princes, returned from the children of Reuben, and from the children of Gad, from the land of Gilead, to the land of Canaan, to the children of Israel, and they brought them back word.
33 And the thing pleased the children of Israel; and the children of Israel blessed God, and they did not intend to go up against them in battle, to destroy the land in which the children of Reuben and Gad dwelt.
34 And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad called the altar: ‘for it is a witness between us that the Lord is God.’
