Jeremiah Chapter 27 on False Prophets with Comforting and Sweet False Prophecies of Their Own

Why You Should Not Put Your Trust On Your Religious Leader Or Church Founder

Religions, cults or sects are formed by fellowmen in our day and age today.

So sad that most of their followers (if not all) knows everything about them and their teachings. But zero about G-d’s.

No wonder many are ignorant and fools in knowing and obeying what G-d has said and commanded through His servants the prophets.

Reason why they do not know whom to listen, and not to listen.

Are you one of them?

“Prophecy Of Nebuchadnezzar’s World Dominion”

Thus said Hashem to me: “Make yourself straps and bars and put them on your neck.
27:2
… Thus said Hashem, Master of Legions, God of Israel: Thus shall you say to your masters: ‘I made the earth — with the man and the animal that are on the face of the earth — with My great strength and with My outstretched hand, and I gave it to whomever was fitting in My eyes.
:4-5
And now I have delivered all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylonia, My servant: I have even delivered the beast of the field to him to serve him.
:6
You should not listen to your prophets and to your magicians and to your dreamers and to your wizards and sorcerers, who are telling you, “Do not serve the king of Babylonia.” For they are prophesying falsehood to you, …
:9-10
But any nation that puts its neck into the yoke of the king of Babylonia and serves him — I shall allow them to stay upon their land — the word of Hashem — and they will work it and live there.’”
:11
Do not listen to the words of the prophets who tell you, saying, ‘Do not serve the king of Babylonia,’ for they are prophesying falsely in My Name, in order that I should disperse you, so that you and your prophets who prophesy to you will be lost.”
:14
Do not listen to them! Serve the king of Babylonia and live; why should this city become destroyed?
:17
And if they [really] are prophets and if the word of Hashem is [really] with them, let them now beseech Hashem, Master of Legions, that the articles which remain in the Temple of Hashem and in the palace of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem not be brought to Babylonia.
:18
They will be brought to Babylonia and they will be there until the day that I attend to them — the word of Hashem — when I shall bring them up and return them to this place.
:22

1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying:
2 So said the Lord to me; Make yourself thongs and bars, and place them upon your neck.
3 And you shall send them to the king of Edom and to the king of Moab and to the king of the children of Ammon and to the king of Tyre and to the king of Zidon by the hand of ambassadors who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah, the king of Judah.
4 And you shall command them to their masters, saying: So said the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel; so shall you say to your masters:
5 I made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the face of the earth, with My great strength and with My outstretched arm, and I gave it to him that pleased Me.
6 And now, I have given these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and even the beasts of the field I have given to him to serve him.
7 And all nations shall serve him and his son and his son’s son until the time of his own land come, and many nations and great kings shall make him servile.
8 And it shall come to pass that the nation or the kingdom that will not serve him, Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and who will not place his neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon, with the sword and with famine and with pestilence will I visit upon that nation, says the Lord, until I have consumed them by his hand.
9 And you, heed not your prophets or your diviners or your dreams or your soothsayers or your sorcerers, who say to you, saying, “You shall not serve the king of Babylon.”
10 For they are prophesying falsely to you in order to remove you far from your land, and so that I will drive you out and you will perish.
11 And [as for] the nation that will bring his neck into the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him, I will allow him to remain on his soil, says the Lord, and he will till it and dwell on it.
12 And to Zedekiah the king of Judah have I spoken according to all these words, saying, “Bring your necks into the yoke of the king of Babylon and serve him and his people, and live.
13 Why should you die, you and your people, by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence, as the Lord has spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
14 And do not heed the words of the prophets who say to you, saying, “You shall not serve the king of Babylon,” for they are prophesying falsely to you.
15 For I have not sent them, says the Lord, and they are prophesying in My name falsely, in order that I drive you out and that you perish, you and the prophets who are prophesying to you.
16 And to the priests and to all this people I have spoken, saying: So said the Lord: Heed not the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, “Behold, the vessels of the house of the Lord will be returned from Babylon now hastily,” for they are prophesying falsely to you.
17 Heed them not; serve the king of Babylon, and live. Why should this city be destroyed?
18 But if they are prophets, and if the word of the Lord is with them, let them now entreat the Lord of Hosts that the vessels remaining in the house of the Lord and in the house of the king of Judah and in Jerusalem not come to Babylon.
19 For so has the Lord of Hosts said concerning the pillars, concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the rest of the vessels remaining in this city.
20 Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take when he exiled Jeconiah son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.
21 For so said the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels remaining in the house of the Lord and in the house of the King of Judah and Jerusalem:
22 They shall be brought to Babylon, and there they shall be until the day I remember them, said the Lord, and I will bring them up and restore them to this place.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
