Jeremiah Chapter 25 to You Who Ignore G-d’s Truths and Carry on in Worshiping Jesus and the 3-in-1 G-d Pay Close Attention to this Chapter
Jeremiah vs. The 12 Apostles
If Paul and the 11 apostles said, just “believe in Jesus” you will be saved, think again.
It is your action that will be taken into account – the Word of G-d.
Not man-made futile word — Psalm 146:3-4
You refused to listen?
The consequences can be found in this chapter.
“King Nebuchadrezzar — G-d’s Servant”
“Seventy-Year Exile”
“The Cup Of Wrath”
… — the word of Hashem has been coming to me, and I have spoken to you, speaking from early [morning], but you have not listened.
25:3
Hashem has sent you all His servants the prophets, sending them from early [morning] — but you did not listen, and you did not incline your ear to hear —
:4
saying, ‘Repent now, each man from his evil way and from the wickedness of your deeds, …
:5
Do not follow the gods of others, worshiping them and prostrating yourselves to them, and do not anger Me with your handiwork, so that I shall not bring evil upon you.’
:6
But you did not listen to Me — the word of Hashem — in order to anger Me with your handiwork, to your own harm.”
:7
Therefore, thus says Hashem, Master of Legions: Because you have not heeded My words,
:8
behold I am sending and will take all the families of the North — the word of Hashem — and [am sending] to Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylonia, My servant; …
:9
I shall eliminate from them the sound of joy and the sound of gladness, the sound of groom and the sound of the bride, the sound of the mill and the light of the candle.
:10
Then, upon the completion of seventy years, I shall make an account of their sin for the king of Babylonia and for that nation — the word of Hashem — …
:12
And I shall bring upon that land all My words that I have spoken concerning it, all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah prophesied concerning all the nations.
:13
.. I shall repay them according to their action and according to their handiwork.
:14
For thus said Hashem, God of Israel, to me: “Take this cup of the wine of wrath from My hand, and make all the nations to whom I shall send you to drink from it.
:15
Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, along with its kings and its officers — to turn them into places of ruin and of desolation, of whistling and of curse, as it is this very day;
:18
“You shall say unto them: Thus said Hashem, Master of Legions, God of Israel: Drink, become intoxicated and vomit; fall down and do not rise up again — because of the sword that I am sending against you.
:27
For behold, even in the city upon which My Name is proclaimed I have begun to bring evil — will you be exonerated? …
:29
“So you, prophesy to them all these words, and say to them: Hashem roars from on high and sends out His voice from His holy Abode; He is roaring over His Lodging, He shouts ‘Hedad’ — like those who trample the grapes at the winepress — to all the inhabitants of the land.
:30
The commotion reaches the end of the world, for Hashem is contending with the nations, He is passing judgment on all flesh; He has delivered the wicked to the sword — the word of Hashem.
:31
1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah-that is the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.
2 Which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:
3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah son of Amon, king of Judah, until this day, these twenty- three years the word of the Lord has come to me, and I spoke to you, arising early and speaking, but you did not hearken.
4 And the Lord sent to you all His servants, the prophets, sending them early, but you did not hearken and you did not incline your ear[s] to listen.
5 Saying; Repent now, each man of his evil way and of the evil of your deeds, and dwell on the land that the Lord gave you and your forefathers from days of yore and forever.
6 And do not go after other gods to worship them and to prostrate yourselves to them, and you shall not provoke Me with the work of your hands, and I will not harm you.
7 But you did not hearken to Me, says the Lord, in order to provoke Me with the work of your hands for your harm.
8 Therefore, so said the Lord of Hosts: Since you have not hearkened to My words,
9 Behold, I send and I will take all the families of the north, says the Lord, and to Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and I will bring them upon this land and upon its inhabitants and upon all these nations around, and I will destroy them and make them for a desolation and for a hissing and for perpetual ruins.
10 And I will cause to cease from them a voice of mirth and a voice of joy, the sound of a bridegroom and the sound of a bride, the sound of a mill and the light of a candle.
11 And all this land shall become waste [and] desolation, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon for seventy years.
12 And it shall be at the completion of seventy years, I will visit upon the king of Babylon and upon that nation, says the Lord, their iniquity, and upon the land of the Chaldeans, and I will make it for everlasting desolations.
13 And I will bring upon that land all My words that I have spoken about it, all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah prophesied concerning all the nations.
14 For many nations and great kings will enslave them too, and I will recompense them according to their deed and according to the work of their hands.
15 For so said the Lord God of Israel to me; Take this cup of the wine of fury from My hand, and you shall give it to all the nations to whom I send you, to drink.
16 And they shall drink and reel to and fro and be like madmen because of the sword that I am sending among them.
17 And I took the cup from the hand of the Lord, and I gave it to all the nations to whom the Lord had sent me, to drink.
18 Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, and its kings and its princes, to make them a waste, a desolation, a hissing, and a curse, as of this day.
19 Pharaoh the king of Egypt and his servants and his princes and all his people.
20 And all the allies and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines and Ashkelon and Gaza and Ekron and the remnant of Ashdod.
21 And Edom and Moab and the children of Ammon.
22 And all the kings of Tyre and all the kings of Sidon and the kings of the isle that is on the other side of the area.
23 Dedan and Tema and Buz and all those separated in that corner.
24 And all the kings of Arabia and all the kings of the allies who dwell in the desert.
25 And all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam and all the kings of Media.
26 And all the kings of the north, both near and far, one after the other, and all the kingdoms of the earth that are upon the face of the earth; and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
27 And you shall say to them: So said the Lord God of Israel; Drink, become drunk, and vomit, fall and you shall not rise, because of the sword that I am sending among you.
28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup from your hand to drink, that you shall say to them: So said the Lord of Hosts: You shall surely drink.
29 For behold, with the city upon which My name is called, I commence to bring evil, and shall you be cleared? You shall not be cleared, for I call a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, says the Lord of Hosts.
30 And you prophesy to them all these words, and you shall say to them: The Lord shall roar from above, and from His Holy Habitation He shall give forth His voice; He shall roar over His habitation; “Hedad!” He shall call out like those who tread grapes, to all the inhabitants of the earth.
31 A stirring has come until the end of the earth, for God has a controversy with the nations; He contends with all flesh. The wicked He has delivered to the sword, says the Lord.
32 So said the Lord of Hosts: Behold evil goes forth from nation to nation, and a great storm shall be awakened from the ends of the earth.
33 And those slain by the Lord shall be on that day from the end of the earth to the end of the earth; they shall not be lamented; neither gathered nor buried. They shall be as dung on the face of the earth.
34 Howl, O you shepherds, and cry out, and roll, you mighty of the sheep, for your days have filled to slaughter, and your scatterings, and you shall fall as a precious vessel.
35 And flight shall fail the shepherds and deliverance the mighty of the flock.
36 Hark! the cry of the shepherds and the howling of the mighty of the flocks, for the Lord plunders their pasture.
37 And the tranquil abodes shall be destroyed because of the Lord’s furious wrath.
38 He has left His hut like a young lion, for their land has become waste, because of the wrath of the oppressing sword, and because of His furious wrath.
