Isaiah Chapter 56 Once Again Redirects What Pleases G-d

Did You Know?

That you cannot be a Christian by keeping the Law or the Commandment.

*For you invalidate what Jesus (Christ) did on the Cross (Galatians 2:21).

Ask yourself, whom will you obey? The Hebrew Bible? Or The Greek Book? G-d? Or Paul and the rest of the Apostles or Disciples?

*Who will save you in the end? (Psalm 146:3-4)

“Keeping The Law”

“The Non-Jews On Sabbath”

Thus said Hashem: Observe justice and perform righteousness, for My salvation is soon to come and My righteousness to be revealed.
56:1
Praiseworthy is the man who does this and the person who grasps it tightly: who guards the Sabbath against desecration and guards his hand against doing any evil.
56:2
For thus said Hashem to the barren ones who observe My Sabbaths and choose what I desire, and grasp My covenant tightly:
:4
In My house and within My walls I will give them a place of honor and renown, which is better than sons and daughters; eternal renown will I give each one, which will never be terminated.
:5
And the foreigners who join themselves to Hashem to serve Him and to love the Name of Hashem to become servants unto Him, all who guard the Sabbath against desecration, and grasp My covenant tightly —
:6
I will bring them to My holy mountain, and I will gladden them in My house of prayer; their elevation-offerings and their feast-offerings will find favor on My Altar, for My House will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.
:7
The word of my Lord, Hashem/Elohim, Who gathers in the dispersed of Israel: I shall gather to him even more than those already gathered to him.
:8
Their watchmen are all blind; they do not comprehend. They are all dumb dogs who cannot bark, who doze off and lie down and love to sleep.
:10
… they have all gone off on their own ways, each from his own corner, for his own dishonest gain, [saying:]
:11
“Come, I will get wine and we will guzzle liquor together; and tomorrow will also be like this, and even much greater!”
:12

1 So says the Lord, “Keep justice and practice righteousness, for My salvation is near to come, and My benevolence to be revealed.”
2 Fortunate is the man who will do this and the person who will hold fast to it, he who keeps the Sabbath from profaning it and guards his hand from doing any evil.
3 Now let not the foreigner who joined the Lord, say, “The Lord will surely separate me from His people,” and let not the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.”
4 For so says the Lord to the eunuchs who will keep My Sabbaths and will choose what I desire and hold fast to My covenant,
5 “I will give them in My house and in My walls a place and a name, better than sons and daughters; an everlasting name I will give him, which will not be discontinued.
6 And the foreigners who join with the Lord to serve Him and to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants, everyone who observes the Sabbath from profaning it and who holds fast to My covenant.
7 I will bring them to My holy mount, and I will cause them to rejoice in My house of prayer, their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be acceptable upon My altar, for My house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.
8 So says the Lord God, Who gathers in the dispersed of Israel, I will yet gather others to him, together with his gathered ones.
9 All the beasts of the field, come to devour all the beasts in the forest.
10 His lookouts are all blind, they do not know, dumb dogs who cannot bark; they lie slumbering, loving to slumber.
11 And the dogs are of greedy disposition, they know not satiety; and they are shepherds who know not to understand; they all turned to their way, each one to his gain, every last one.
12 “Come, I will take wine, and let us guzzle old wine, and tomorrow shall be like this, [but] greater [and] much more.”

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
