Isaiah Chapter 54 Shares More Solid Truths About G-d Himself and His People — The Jews

Is Jesus G-d’s Name?

Eyes on verse 5 of this chapter to find out.

As it was told in Bereishit (Genesis) chapter 17 and Shemot (Exodus) chapter 3, G-d’s name is not Jesus.

Thus, Jesus is not G-d; neither Son of G-d nor 3-in-1 G-d or Trinity.

“G-d’s Eternal Mercy And Kindness”

For your Master is your Maker, Hashem, Master of Legions, is His Name; your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; God of all the world will He be called.
54:5
For but a brief moment have I forsaken you, and with abundant mercy I gather you in.
:7
With a slight wrath have I concealed My countenance from you for a moment, but with eternal kindness shall I show you mercy, said your Redeemer, Hashem.
:8
For the mountains may be moved and the hills may falter, but My kindness shall not be removed from you and My covenant of peace shall not falter, said the One Who shows you mercy, Hashem.
:10
All your children will be students of Hashem, and your children’s peace will be abundant.
:13
Establish yourself through righteousness, distance your yourself from oppression, for you need not fear it, and from devastation, for it will not come near you.
:14
Behold, they may indeed gather together, but it is without My consent. Whoever will gather against you will fall because of you.
:15
Any weapon sharpened against you will not succeed, and any tongue that will rise against you in judgment, you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Hashem, and their righteousness from Me — the word of Hashem.
:17

1 “Sing you barren woman who has not borne; burst out into song and jubilate, you who have not experienced birth pangs, for the children of the desolate one are more than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord.
2 Widen the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations, do not spare; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.
3 For right and left shall you prevail, and your seed shall inherit nations and repeople desolate cities.
4 Fear not, for you shall not be ashamed, and be not embarrassed for you shall not be put to shame, for the shame of your youth you shall forget, and the disgrace of your widowhood you shall no longer remember.
5 For your Master is your Maker, the Lord of Hosts is His name, and your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, shall be called the God of all the earth.
6 For, like a wife who is deserted and distressed in spirit has the Lord called you, and a wife of one’s youth who was rejected, said your God.
7 “For a small moment have I forsaken you, and with great mercy will I gather you.
8 With a little wrath did I hide My countenance for a moment from you, and with everlasting kindness will I have compassion on you,” said your Redeemer, the Lord.
9 “For this is to Me [as] the waters of Noah, as I swore that the waters of Noah shall never again pass over the earth, so have I sworn neither to be wroth with you nor to rebuke you.
10 For the mountains shall depart and the hills totter, but My kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of My peace totter,” says the Lord, Who has compassion on you.
11 O poor tempestuous one, who was not consoled, behold I will set your stones with carbuncle, and I will lay your foundations with sapphires.
12 And I will make your windows of jasper and your gates of carbuncle stones, and all your border of precious stones.
13 And all your children shall be disciples of the Lord, and your children’s peace shall increase.
14 With righteousness shall you be established, go far away from oppression, for you shall not fear, and from ruin, for it will not come near you.
15 Behold, the one with whom I am not, shall fear, whoever mobilizes against you shall defect to you.
16 Behold I have created a smith, who blows on a charcoal fire and produces a weapon for his work, and I have created a destroyer to destroy [it].
17 Any weapon whetted against you shall not succeed, and any tongue that contends with you in judgment, you shall condemn; this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their due reward from Me, says the Lord.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
