Isaiah Chapter 3 on Your Deeds and Its Consequences

… Their Speech And Their Actions Are Against Hashem. v. 8

1. G-d said, He is One and Alone.
You say, He is 3-In-1 or Trinity.
2. G-d said, He is Not a Man.
You say, He became a man as Jesus.
3. G-d said, when the Messiah will come there will no longer be war.

You say, the Messiah is Jesus.

These are just 3 examples of going against G-d’s word and His commandments. In one word, “Rebellion.”

“Prophecy On The Siege Of Jerusalem”

For behold, the Lord, Hashem, Master of Legions, is removing from Jerusalem and from Judah support of men and support of women, every support of bread and every support of water;
3:1
I shall make youngsters their leaders, and mockers will rule them.
:4
The people will be oppressed, man by man and man by his fellow; they will domineer, the youngster over the elder and the base over the respectable.
:5
[All this has come about] because Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen; for their speech and their actions are against Hashem, rebelling before the eyes of His glory.
:8
Their brazen countenance testifies against them; their sins, like Sodom’s, speak out and do not withhold [anything]. Woe to their souls for they have brought evil upon themselves.
:9
Tell [each] righteous man that it is good; for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.
:10
But woe to the wicked person who does evil, for the recompense of his hands will be dealt to him.
:11
… O My people, your leaders mislead you, and they have corrupted the direction of your ways.
:12
Hashem stands erect to contend, and stands to judge peoples.
:13
Hashem will enter into judgment with the elders and officers of His people, [saying,] ‘You have consumed the vineyard; what you have robbed from the poor man is in your houses.
:14
What has become of you that you crush My people and grind the faces of the poor?’ — the word of my Lord, Hashem/Elohim, Master of Legions.
:15
Hashem said: Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, walking with outstretched necks and winking eyes; walking with dainty steps, jingling with their feet,
:16
[therefore] the Lord will afflict the heads of the daughters of Zion with lesions, and Hashem will bare their private parts.
:17

1 For, behold, the Master, the Lord of Hosts removes from Jerusalem and from Judah a support and a stay, every support of bread and every support of water;
2 Hero and warrior; judge and prophet and soothsayer and elder;
3 Captain of fifty and man of esteem, and counsellor and skillful craftsman, and one who understands secrets.
4 And I will appoint youths as their princes, and scorners shall rule over them.
5 And the people shall be oppressed, man against man, and man against his fellow; they shall behave haughtily, the youth against the elder and the base against the honorable.
6 When a man shall seize his brother of the house of his father, [saying], “You have a garment, be an officer to us, and this obstacle shall be under your hand,”
7 He shall swear on that day, saying, “I will not be a ruler, while in my house there is neither bread nor clothing; do not make me an officer over the people.”
8 For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, for their tongue and their deeds are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of His glory.
9 The recognition of their faces testified against them, and their sin, like Sodom they told, they did not deny; woe is to their soul, for they have paid themselves [with] evil.
10 Praise the righteous man for he is good, for the fruit of their deeds they shall eat.
11 Woe to the wicked [who does] evil, for the recompense of his hands shall be done to him.
12 As for My people, their rulers are mockers, and women govern them; O My people! Your leaders lead you astray, and the way of your paths they have destroyed.
13 The Lord stands to plead, and He stands to judge the peoples.
14 The Lord will enter into judgment with the elders of His people and their officers. And you have ravaged the vineyard; the spoils of the poor are in your houses.
15 What do you mean that you crush My people and the faces of the poor you grind? says the Lord God of Hosts.
16 And the Lord said: Because the daughters of Zion are so haughty; and they walk with neck stretched forth, and winking eyes; walking and raising themselves they walk; and with their feet they spout “venom.”
17 And the Lord shall smite with zaraath the crown of the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord shall pour out their “vessels.”
18 On that day, the Lord shall remove the glory of the shoes and the embroidered headdresses and the hairnets.
19 The necklaces and the bracelets and the veils,
20 The tiaras and the foot chains and the hair ribbons and the clasps and the earrings.
21 The finger-rings and the nose-rings.
22 The tunics and the bedspreads and the tablecloths and the purses.
23 The mirrors and the turbans and the clasps.
24 And it shall come to pass, that, in the place of perfume, will be decay, and in the place of a girdle, laceration, and in the place of the deed, a wound that causes baldness, and in the place of the organ of levity, a sack-cloth girdle, for this is instead of beauty.
25 Your men shall fall by the sword and your heroism in war.
26 And her gates shall lament and mourn, and she shall be emptied out; she shall sit on the ground.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
