Chapter 8
Hosea Chapter 8 When New Teachings Contradict G-d’s Torah
Hosea And What G-d Wrote Through His Servants The Prophets
What apostle Paul & co. taught in the Greek book – New Testament are exposed in this chapter. But there is more…
Jesus as King of Kings? Sorry. Nowhere in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) did G-d ever said it.
“Being Led Away From G-d Instead Of Returning”
To your palate [put] a shofar; [the enemy swoops] like an eagle upon the Temple of Hashem, because they have violated My covenant, and they have rebelled against My Torah.
8:1
Israel has forsaken the Benevolent One; so the enemy will pursue him.
8:3
They enthroned kings, but not from Me; they ordained officers but I did not know. [From] their silver and gold they made themselves idols, for it to be eliminated.
:4
… a craftsman made it, and it is not a god; …
:6
I wrote for them the great principles of My Torah, but they were regarded as something alien.
:12
The sacrifices for My burnt-offerings let them slaughter for meat and let them eat! Hashem does not desire them! Now He will remember their iniquity and punish their sins, …
:13
Israel has forgotten his Maker and he has built temples, …
:14
1 To your palate a shophar: Like an eagle upon the house of the Lord, for they have transgressed My covenant and they have rebelled against My Law.
2 To Me Israel will cry: “My God! We know You!”
3 Israel has cast off the Good One; the enemy shall pursue him.
4 They set up a king, but not from Me, they removed, and I did not know; [with] their silver and their gold they made themselves idols, in order that it be cut off.
5 He has forsaken [you because of] your calf, O Samaria, My wrath is kindled against them; how long will they be unable to cleanse themselves?
6 For it is from Israel; a craftsman made it, and it is a no-god, for the calf of Samaria shall be splinters.
7 For they sow wind and they will reap the tempest; it has no standing grain, a plant that will not produce flour; if it does produce, strangers will swallow it.
8 Israel has been swallowed; now they are among the nations as a useless utensil.
9 For they went up to Assyria, a wild donkey secluded to himself, they paid hire for love.
10 Although they pay hire among the nations, now I will gather them, and they will be humbled a little from the burden of the king and the princes.
11 For Ephraim has increased altars to sin; he had altars to sin.
12 I write for them the great things of My Law; like a strange thing they are considered.
13 As for the sacrifices they burn before Me, let them slaughter the flesh and eat it; the Lord does not desire them. Now He will remember their iniquity and visit their sins [when] they return to Egypt.
14 Israel has forgotten his Maker, and has built temples, and Judah has increased fortified cities, and I will set fire to his cities, and it will consume her palaces.
