Chapter 48

Ezekiel Not Only Outlined but Detailed the Truths About Salvation, Messiah and the Third Temple

Ezekiel Ends In The Distribution Of The Land Of Israel To The 12 Tribes With The Holy City

Ezekiel is another book that time and time again sent the Greek book – New Testament to the trash bin.

Proven false are:
1. Jesus’ famous or infamous quote, “It is finished.”
2. Jesus’ crucifixion, death and resurrection (offerings and sacrifices continue even during the time of the Messiah and the third Temple).
3. Jesus as the Messiah (The Messiah will have sons).
4. The list continues…

“The Holy City”

These are the names of the tribes: At the northern end, near the way to Hethlon to the approach of Hamath, this shall be for him [from] the eastern side to the west — Dan, one [portion].
48:1
“Next to Judah’s border, from the eastern side to the western side, shall be the [sacred] portion that you shall set aside, …
:8
The [sacred] portion that you set aside for Hashem shall have a length of twenty-five thousand long and a width of ten thousand.
:9
This shall be the sacred portion for the Kohanim, twenty-five thousand on the north, ten thousand wide on the west, ten thousand in width on the east and twenty-five thousand long on the south; the Sanctuary of Hashem shall be within it.
:10
This hallowed place shall belong to the Kohanim of the sons of Zadok, who safeguard My charge, who did not stray when the Children of Israel strayed, as the Levites had strayed.
:11
It shall be a separated portion for them, out of the [sacred] portion of the land, holy of holies, next to the border of the Levites.
:12
They shall not sell any of it, nor exchange nor transfer this choicest of the land, for it is sacred to Hashem.
:14
The remaining five thousand in which by twenty-five thousand in length shall be secular, for the city, for settlement and for open stage; the city shall be within it.
:15
And the remaining area [of the strip] shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the sacred portion and the property of the city; … — parallel to the [tribal] portions, shall be for the prince; the sacred portion and the Sanctuary of the Temple shall be within it.
:21
And the property of the Levites and the property of the city shall be within that which belongs to the prince; between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin shall be for the prince.
:22
“As for the rest of the tribes: from the eastern side to the western side — Benjamin, one [portion].
:23
“This is the Land that you shall allot as an inheritance to the tribes of Israel and these are their divisions — the word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim.
:29
The gates of the city shall be [called] by the names of the tribes of Israel, three gates to the north: the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Levi, one.
:31
… the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one.
:32
… the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, one; the gate of Zebulun, one.
:33
… the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, one; the gate of Naphtali, one.
:34
“The circumference [of the city] is thus eighteen thousand. And the name of the city from that day shall be “Hashem-Is-There!”
:35

1 And these are the names of the tribes; from the northern end, beside the way to Hethlon, to the road [leading] to Hamath, [to] Hazar Enan at the border of Damascus, to the north alongside Hamath; and he shall have from the eastern side to the sea, for Dan; one portion.
2 And alongside the border of Dan, from the eastern side to the western side, for Asher; one portion.
3 And alongside the border of Asher, from the eastern side to the western side, for Naftali; one portion.
4 And alongside the border of Naftali, from the eastern side to the western side, for Manasseh; one portion.
5 And alongside the border of Manasseh, from the eastern side to the western side, for Ephraim; one portion.
6 And alongside the border of Ephraim, from the eastern side to the western side, for Reuben; one portion.
7 And alongside the border of Reuben, from the eastern side to the western side, for Judah; one portion.
8 And alongside the border of Judah, from the eastern side to the western side, shall be the offering that you shall separate: 25,000 the width, and the length like one of the portions from the eastern side to the western side; and the Sanctuary shall be in its midst.
9 The offering that you shall separate for the Lord, its length [shall be] 25,000 and its width 10, 000.
10 And these shall be the offering of the Sanctuary for the priests: to the north 25,000, and to the west the width is 10,000, and to the east the width is 10,000, and to the south the length is 25,000, and the Sanctuary of the Lord shall be in its midst.
11 The hallowed part will be for the priests of the sons of Zadok, who kept My watch, who did not stray when the Children of Israel strayed, as the Levites strayed.
12 And it shall be separated for them from the offering of the land, holy of holies, alongside the border of the Levites.
13 And the Levites: opposite the border of the priests, twenty-five thousand [in] length, and the width 10,000, every length 25,000, and width 10, 000.
14 And they shall not sell any of it or exchange [it], and they shall not remove [from it the name] “the first of the land,” for it is holy to the Lord.
15 And the 5,000 that remain in the width along the 25,000 is non-holy, for the city, for dwelling and for open space; and the city shall be in its midst.
16 And these are its measurements: The north side is 4,500, the southern side is 4,500, from the eastern side 4,500, and the western side is 4,500.
17 The city shall have an open space, to the north 250, to the south 250, to the east 250, and to the west 250.
18 And the remainder in the length, opposite the offering of the Sanctuary: 10,000 to the east and 10,000 to the west; and it shall be opposite the offering of the Sanctuary, and its grain shall be for food for those who serve the city.
19 And as for one who serves the city, [those] of all the tribes of Israel shall serve him.
20 The entire offering is 25,000 by 25,000; [but] you shall separate a square for the offering for the Sanctuary [and] for the possession of the city.
21 And the remainder shall be for the prince-on either side of the offering of the Sanctuary and of the possession of the city-alongside 25,000 of the offering until the border to the east and to the west, alongside 25,000 until the western border, opposite the portions, shall belong to the prince; and the offering of the Sanctuary and the Sanctuary of the House shall be in its midst.
22 Both the possession of the Levites and the possession of the city shall be in the midst of what belongs to the prince; [that] between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin shall belong to the prince.
23 And the rest of the tribes; from the eastern side to the western side-for Benjamin: one portion.
24 And alongside the border of Benjamin, from the eastern side to the western side, for Simeon: one portion.
25 And alongside the border of Simeon, from the eastern side to the western side, for Issachar; one portion.
26 And alongside the border of Issachar, from the eastern side to the western side, for Zebulun, one portion.
27 And alongside the border of Zebulun, from the eastern side to the western side, for Gad; one portion.
28 And alongside the border of Gad, to the southern side, shall the border be, from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook, until the Great Sea.
29 This is the land that you shall allot, of the inheritance to the tribes of Israel, and these are their divisions, says the Lord God.
30 And these are the exits of the city: from the northern side of 4,500 measures.
31 And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel-three gates to the north; the gate of Reuben is one, the gate of Judah is one, the gate of Levi is one.
32 And to the eastern side, 4,500, and three gates; the gate of Joseph is one, the gate of Benjamin is one, and the gate of Dan is one.
33 And the southern side, 4,500 measures, and three gates: the gate of Simeon is one, the gate of Issachar is one, and the gate of Zebulun is one.
34 The western side, 4,500, their gates are three: the gate of Gad is one, the gate of Asher is one, and the gate of Naftali is one.
35 All around it amounts to 18,000; and the name of the city from that day will be “The Lord is There.”

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
