Chapter 15

Ezekiel Chapter 15 Because of Sin You are Rendered Useless or Good for Nothing

Ezekiel On Becoming Useless For Any Other Purpose

Now you may be healthy and wealthy, G-d may be the least you think of of pursuing or helping for the cause of bringing others to Him.

Until you will become old or sick/handicapped (G-d forbid) you will surrender all to G-d by then only.

Will G-d accept you? Or will He reject you?

G-d knows your innermost thoughts, actions, reactions and intentions.

“G-d’s Vine”

The word of Hashem came to me, saying, “Son of Man, what will become of the vine-tree compared to any [other] tree, the branch that was among the trees of the forest?
15:1-2
“Therefore, thus said the Lord Hashem/Elohim: Like a vine-tree [compared] to another tree of the forest, which I have put into the fire for fuel, so have I made the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
:6
I will make the land desolate, because you have acted treacherously — the word of the Lord Hashem/Elohim.”
:8

1 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
2 “Son of man, what will become of the vine-tree out of all [other] trees-the branch that was among the trees of the forest?
3 Will wood be taken from it to be used for work, or will they take from it a peg upon which to hang any utensil?
4 Behold, [if] it were given to the fire to be consumed, and both its ends the fire consumed, and [if] its inside were charred-is it fit for work?
5 Behold, when it was whole, it could not be used for work; how much less when fire has consumed it and it has become charred, will it any longer be used for work?
6 Therefore, so said the Lord God: As a vine-tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given over to the fire to be consumed, have I placed the dwellers of Jerusalem.
7 And I shall set My countenance against them; From the fire they have emerged, but the fire will devour them, and you will know that I am the Lord when I direct My countenance against them.
8 I shall make the land desolate because they have trespassed grievously,” says the Lord God.

Bible reading in the form of Scripture in pictures can have a profound impact on those who may have never read a chapter in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). Viewing pivotal verses in a visual context can deepen one’s understanding of the text and provide a unique perspective. The images may help to illustrate important themes and messages that may not have been as easily grasped through standard reading. Additionally, this method can be particularly beneficial for those who struggle with traditional reading methods or for those who are more visually inclined. The power of visual storytelling has been utilized for centuries, and when paired with the timeless words of Scripture, it has the potential to bring new life and meaning to the ancient text. Ultimately, whatever method one chooses to engage with the Bible, the most important thing is to seek a deeper understanding of God’s word, and to apply it to our lives in a meaningful way.
